Li Lingjing's face had turned pale white. She shook her head as she reached out her hand. As she closed her fist, the aquamarine bamboo python staff that she was disarmed of previously flew back up into her hands.
Her gaze was filled with heartbreak as she saw the numerous cracks on the staff. She carefully put it away along with the jade bottle in her hand before asking, "Do you need help?"
"Cousin Lingjing, you have had enough of the limelight. Leave some for me, please. If you don't, the Empyrean Chronicle will only ill.u.s.trate the unparalleled Li Lingjing's exploits. Li Luo would become a shameless side character," Li Luo replied.
Hearing this, even Li Lingjing could not help but feel like giving his head a good smack with her staff. She immediately responded in an annoyed tone, "Who wants the limelight? If you want it, you can have it all."
