The black mist covered the sky and swallowed up Li Luo and the rest.

At this moment, Li Luo turned over to Li Fengyi and the rest. However, he realized that they were no longer by his side. It was as if different dimensions had formed to isolate them. Indeed, this black mist was truly odd.

He could borrow the power of the Three-tailed Heavenly Wolf. However, the wolf was only about as powerful as a first-grade Duke, so it might still be slightly weaker than the Soul Eater True Devil. In that case, he still had another ace—the kingmark hidden in the Onyx-Elephant Blade. It was left behind by Princ.i.p.al Pang, and its energy should not have been totally depleted. If he utilized both the power of the Three-tailed Heavenly Wolf and the kingmark, it should be enough to pose a threat to the Soul Eater True Devil. The caveat was that he could only use this once. Li Luo's heart was filled with a sense of danger as his body tightened up like a wild beast preparing for its strike. He stared intently at the black mist that surrounded him.

As usual, she was smiling brightly at him. However, Li Luo could tell that there was no happiness coming from her smile. Instead, it was an eerie and chilling smile.
Li Luo immediately understood that he had been targeted by the Soul Eater True Devil.
Slowly, Li Lingjing walked over and stopped about ten meters away from him. Her eyes lit up as she watched him curiously. Following this, she took a few deep breaths as if she was intoxicated.
"What a nice smell," she said with a smile.
However, Li Luo simply stared at her coldly without replying.
"You must be really delicious." Li Lingjing stuck out her tender, pink tongue and licked her red lips in a seductive manner. This sent a chill up Li Luo's spine.
"Zhao Jingyu is pretty talented too. You can try him as an appetizer first," Li Luo suggested.
Hearing this, Li Lingjing frowned and replied, "He's pa.s.sable. If you were not around, I may have eaten him. But now... I have no interest in him. You must understand that I am very picky with my food. Over the years, the only person that has left me satisfied is just this body." She pointed to her own body. With a faint smile, she continued, "But I can sense that you're even better than her."
At this moment, Li Luo's eyes twitched a little. He understood that she must have been referring to Li Lingjing.
Li Luo was not pleased with such recognition at all. Rather, he wanted to just give her a piece of his mind.
Li Luo took a deep breath and asked, "I'm a little speechless. You really won't consider changing your choice to Zhao Jingyu?"
"No way," Li Lingjing replied with a grin.
Next, she opened her red lips, and thick, black smoke wafted out. The smoke gradually formed a cloud, countless black worms that were as tiny as dust particles crawling inside it.
The smoke reached out for Li Luo like a tentacle.
"It'll be much better if you do not resist," she warned him kindly.
Of course, Li Luo would not simply listen to her. When he saw the Shadow Worm Smoke drifting over, his energy surged and he casted a Nine Revolutions Art immediately.
"Heavenly Dragon Resonance Enlightenment!"
A giant dragon manifestation emerged and wrapped around Li Luo. It emitted a mysterious dragonfear that slowed down the pace of the Shadow Worm Smoke instantly. As if it was deterred, the smoke did not dare to come any closer.
