These were the words that Theseus had called out as they caused genuine surprise to show from the ancient visage of the 8 Echelon Obsidian n.o.bLESSE, Desiderius!
He was of the 8 Echelon Obsidian ranking this being had 8 Boundaries under him, and the Obsidian t.i.tle distinguished that had achieved at least 4 Boundary Layers in a majority of these 8 Boundaries.
At the least.
He and all others would remain in the stage of Boundary Layers so long as they never reached the 6th Boundary Layer, where any being who brought a Boundary to such a height would be termed a 1 Echelon Crimson Existence!
But having an Aeonic Soul capable of taking any Concept of Extremity to the 6th Boundary Layer was exceedingly hard.
This staging was a demarcation of those who had become truly adept at using their Aeonic Soul, reaching a level of manipulation of Boundaries to alter the reality around them to an unimaginable extent.
It was common knowledge in the Vaults of Extremity that any Boundary could not be taken to the 6th Boundary Layer unless the existence trying to do so had their Aeonic Soul supported by 9 Boundaries that had all achieved the 5th Boundary Layer!
Their Aeonic Soul had to have been refined to a ridiculous level as only when it had the augmentations and boons of 9 different Boundaries at the 5th Boundary Layer did they have a chance to succeed in taking one of their Boundaries to the 6th Layer- an extremely high Aeonic Soul Value was just one requirement!
Normally.
But...there were always exceptions.
There were beings who put off any other Concepts and only focused on a single Boundary to bring towards Extremity.
Such beings had a high level of fanaticism towards their Concepts, and they defied set norms as they refined their Aeonic Soul with a single Boundary, spending countless years smas.h.i.+ng towards the 6th Boundary Layer of their single concept as more often than not, they would never reach it.
But there were geniuses out there.
There were special existences born in unique conditions.
There were also a myriad of unknown treasures within the Vaults of Extremity that could change established norms.
Desiderius knew this.
He knew that before reaching the 6th Boundary Layer, the control existences had over their Aeonic Soul was elementary.
It was rough and without direction as only when one could utilize their Aeonic Soul with a great level of control and manipulate it in unfathomable ways...did the path towards the 6th Boundary Layer and above open up!
It was why so many other Layers were needed as support to refine and strengthen the Aeonic Soul!
Desiderius knew this, and it was why he was all the more surprised when the Ancestral Descendant known as Theseus called out !
The sword this being held in his hands disappeared and merged into his body.
Truthfully, it merged with his Aeonic Soul.
Because from this point onward, this being would never need an external weapon to express the Boundary of the Sword!

His dark hair whipped madly as every strand seemed like a sharp stellar sword.
The pupils within his eyes took on the form of white-gold swords as his body became adorned with wisps of the authority of the Boundary of the Sword, a white-gold Armament etched with radiant sword light covering him entirely!
White gold.
This was the color this being gave off as at this moment, his whole body blazed with immense sharpness as one could see the illusion of a sword hilt below his feet, and a blade rising from his body and above his head with a sharp sword point!
His very existence felt like a Sword as he blared forth with a light that fantastically....
HOONG!
Caused the dark VOID in the surroundings to retreat for light years.
The surroundings instantly brightened up as the stellar seas of natural laws became visible to all- the blanket of the VOID entirely canceled!
This was because Theseus had managed to reach a stage that was the same...or exceeding the one who had laid down the VOID.
Desiderius knew this very well!
That this being...had somehow begun to walk towards the abstruse and unreachable 6th Boundary Layer of the Sword.
Whether through sheer willpower or genius, whether through unknown treasures, means, or Lineages.
Theseus neared the unattainable 6th Boundary Layer as the clearest distinction of this was that the sharpness he was currently giving off...over half of it was in the form of Aeonic Soul Damage Values.
And it was in the thousands!
Yes!
The Hallmark of anyone reaching the 6th Boundary Layer towards EXTREMITY...was that everything they released would contain Aeonic Soul Damage Value!
The difference in the manipulation and control of the Aeonic Soul from the 5th to the 6th Boundary was akin to the control of a child compared to an adult.

So Theseus drew himself and shot forth.
And the smile on Desiderius only became wilder as the love for battle and supremacy of the n.o.bLESSE Lineage roused maddeningly!
On the side, the golden grandeur of fate overflowed as Hideyos.h.i.+ and his Legion gazed on in utter shock, where they didn't seem capable of holding even a candle to the level of battle blooming before them.
Such a fight was witnessed by very few eyes, but the most important ones were the eyes of Reality itself, and the eyes of the True Emperor of Quintessence as he gauged the power of his enemies and what he himself had to achieve in order to overcome them.

It made him question whether all the boons that were trying to come to fruition right now would be enough.
Whether the Boundaries trying to become Innate or the sudden appearance of a New Boundary arising from his Origin and Construct would be enough!
