"Father, why am I being called into the palace?" w.a.n.g Hai asked as he walked into the room.
"I do not know. But it was the new empress who called you in. I will be going with you to make sure she doesn't do anything to you." The w.a.n.g clan head replied.
"Haha! Maybe she fell for my charms, and I will become her new emperor!" w.a.n.g Hai did not see the strange look from the w.a.n.g clan head. He wondered if w.a.n.g Hai had not seen the current emperor.
"Just don't do anything out of line while at the palace. Don't forget the new empress is still very powerful." The w.a.n.g clan head still had no idea what was going on but he hoped it was nothing that would implicate the clan just yet. They were still making plans to kidnap the youngest daughter of the new empress in hopes of using that as leverage to continue doing as they pleased.
Kana, meanwhile, was sitting in the throne room while General Song placed his daughter's head into a small casket that Kana ordered someone to get. She was still angry, and her anger had yet to quell even after forty minutes of waiting. She never liked it when people did things like this. She wanted to know exactly what this girl did besides rejecting some young master that made it, so she needed her head cut off.
"Your Highness, the w.a.n.g clan head and the w.a.n.g clan's third young master w.a.n.g Hai have arrived." A servant reported.
"Let them in." Kana waved her hand lazily. She wanted to see what this w.a.n.g Hai looked like.
What she saw was an old man with his head held high as he walked in as if he was better than everyone else, as well as a young master who fit the young master terminology very well. He looked arrogant, and when he saw General Song, he even sneered as if what he did was not wrong. What made things even more amusing for Kana was that they just stood there, not even kneeling, which is proper etiquette for everyone in the empire when they see the empress.
Kana had yet to even speak when the w.a.n.g clan head asked: "Empress, you called my son w.a.n.g Hai here?"
Kana yawned and ignored him as she stared at the two, not answering the old man's question. The w.a.n.g clan head was not stupid. He knew she was ignoring him on purpose. But he could also play this game.
"You! You b.a.s.t.a.r.d! I will kill you!" General Song suddenly yelled out when he realized that w.a.n.g Hai was standing there.
"You dare!?" The w.a.n.g clan head yelled out when he saw General Song rus.h.i.+ng towards him with his sword drawn.
"Your son killed my daughter! I want his head! An eye for an eye, a head for a head!" General Song yelled out.
"Huh? I gave her back. She deserved to die. See the scratch on my face!?" w.a.n.g Hai pointed to a very thin line mark that did not even bleed on his face, causing Kana to frown even more. "What if girls stop liking me because of this…. Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!"
w.a.n.g Hai suddenly found himself slammed to the floor and began to literally merge with the stone under him. "What are you doing!? How dare you do this to my w.a.n.g clan!? You may be the empress, but without my w.a.n.g clan, your empire would be…. Ahhhh!!!!!!!!!"
"Finally quite…." Kana said coldly. She looked at the two men who were now stuck to the ground by her spiritual pressure and snorted. "First, you walk in here acting all high and mighty. Then you act without any etiquette and do not even bow to your empress. And on top of that, you want to yell at me? I think you need to know your place. Let me make one thing clear. Whether your w.a.n.g clan lives or dies means nothing to me, but as of this day, your son w.a.n.g Hai has committed murder in my Empire, and those who commit murder will die. As General Song said, an eye for an eye, a head for a head.
"Since your son so brazenly cut off the head of one of my citizens, then he will lose his to the father of that child. If you do not like it, I dare you to try to fight with me and see who wins. Just one of my daughters and flick your family clan to death, so do not get it in your head that you are all powerful. My empire does not need your big clans. Either you abide by my rules, or your whole family will be erased for everything they have done."
When the w.a.n.g clan head looked into Kana's eyes, all he saw was a deep dark abyss of nothingness. It scared him to his core. He looked over at w.a.n.g Hai and began regretting coming here. For the survival of his clan, he had no choice but to lower his head this time, but this would not be the end. "As your Highness wishes. This old man has been too brazen. Please spare the w.a.n.g clan."
"Father! You…. ugh!" w.a.n.g Hai felt like he had been punched in the gut by a G.o.d beast as the pressure on him grew stronger.
"It's good you understand, w.a.n.g clan head, because if you continued to act as you were, I would not have been able to hold back my anger. Dragons are not a species that is able to control their anger once it reaches its boiling point." Kana spoke coldly before she looked at General Song and said: "You can do it. Then give the head to the w.a.n.g clan head. The body is for you to do as you please with since the third young master of the w.a.n.g clan didn't give you your daughter's body back."
As Kana thought to here, she looked back at the w.a.n.g clan head and said: "You will free all the girls this b.a.s.t.a.r.d has forced into his backyard as well. If they have died, you will pay compensation to the families. You will not be able to cover it up since I can see your entire estate from here. I have been watching this entire time."
