The terrifying saber qi exploded, tearing the ma.s.sive dragon's corpse and ripping it into pieces that crumbled and collapsed into bones.
Having broken out of the seal, the Dragonslayer started to shrink rapidly. It eventually turned into a meter-long saber that was covered in dragon-scale patterns with terrifying rage qi surrounding its crimson blade.
A Dragon Hunter got anxious and wanted to take the Dragonslayer, but as soon as he touched it, the terribly hot temperature of the hilt burned him. His palm charred, and he cried excruciatingly.
"What is going on? I can't take the saber!"
"Idiot, don't forget that the Dragonslayer is the bane to Dragon Tribes. We have dragon blood in us, so how could we touch it now?" Honorable Seven Evils said as he grunted.
He then took out a bronze box, performed a series of hand seals, and the Dragonslayer flew into the iron box.
"We're done," Honorable Seven Evils said.
Back in the formation, Chu Kuangren chuckled. "It's time for me to make my entrance."
However, before he could do anything, something strange happened.
The Dragon Hunters started to collapse to the ground in pain.
"What's wrong?"
"The dragon blood in my body is boiling. It's so hot! It's burning my organs and my body!"
"Is it because of the Dragonslayer?"
"No. The Dragonslayer is a masterless item, and no one is using its power. How could it work against us?"
Everyone was confused.
However, a sudden realization struck Honorable Seven Evils, and he looked at the unaffected Huang Jiulong further away. "It's you!"
"You're right!" Huang Jiulong chuckled.
"The blood in your bodies is from us, the Huang clan. Did you really think we wouldn't be prepared?"
"You tinkered with the dragon blood?"
"Dragon Hunters are familiar with the dragons. If we did anything to the dragon blood, you guys would know, so no, we didn't do anything to it," Huang Jiulong said with a grin.
