ραпdα nᴏνa| сom "No!" Ulia almost screamed at the top of her lungs, causing her whole face to turn red and Angelica to raise an eyebrow. Seeing everyone looking at them, Angelica quickly pulled Ulia away to a more private place.
"Calmed down?" Angelica asked as she sat down on a bench outside the building.
"Mmm… sorry. I just do not want you to think I hate any of this. I mean while it was all sudden and I am getting used to it, I do not mind sleeping with you or being close to you. I feel comfortable more than anything so do not think I hate this. In truth, I am grateful that you came up with this plan. I have not had anyone bothering me since then. I can finally feel a bit more at ease when I am alone as well since people know I am with you." Ulia's face was burning up as she said all of this, but it was true. They had been friends since the first incident at the start of school and she found that she got along well with Angelica. This was why she did not hesitate to agree to Angelica's plan.
"I see… That's good to hear." Angelica smiled as she sat down next to Ulia. "You see… I have always been so invested in my own things. To me, my family and learning are the most important things in my life. I have lived this way for a few hundred years now. As you know I zone out when I am reading and get violent when people disturb me. I will not hesitate to kill if it means I can get my hands on a new text. But for some reason, I was still able to make friends with you all in the dorm. Especially with you who I feel the most comfortable around since we have similar interests we both hate being bothered and like peace and quiet.
"After being asked out so many times I couldn't help but want to figure out a way to keep the pattern of confession from happening any longer, so when I asked you to help me with this plan, I was grateful that you went along with my whim. Ulia thanks." Angelica smiled as she leaned her head against Ulia's shoulder. She reached out with her hand in front of her as she whispered: "Now we can grasp our own kind of peace and quiet."
"Why not just really date already? Better yet, just get married!" A voice came from below them. Angelica lowered her gaze to see Bi Ling squatting down in front of them, grinning at them.
Angelica rolled her eyes as she pointed at Bi Ling. A ghostly hand shot out and flicked Bi Ling's forehead. "Stop your nonsense."
"Hehe! Big Sister Angelica, you know the whole academy knows you and sister in law are together now so you might as well make it official between the two of you instead of a fake." Bi Ling rubbed her forehead as she said this and stood up. "I mean, if Big Sister Yana is able to find someone she truly loves, why not you as well?"
"Love is something you can not force," Angelica replied as she sat up and pulled Bi Ling into her lap. "You can not force love. Love will always happen slowly and mutually."
"Oh?" Bi Ling looked over at Ulia, who was looking at Angelica with rosy cheeks. "But sister in law loves you?"
"How could she love me!?" Angelica snorted. "I am a rude woman who kills without a second thought if people disturb me. How am I even worthy of love? Plus, I have always been alone. Ulia and I are just…."
"Don't say that!" Ulia suddenly yelled out. "Don't think you are someone people can not love…. Why else would all those boys want to ask you out?"
"That is not considered love. They are only looking at my outer appearance. It is the same for you, Ulia. Those boys see how cute you are and then want to date you. How is that love? Love is when you understand each other and like both the bad and good of a person. You can only think about that person and are only able to think about being with that person in the future. Making them happy makes you happy. This is love. Sometimes it can be a foolish love, but so what? Love is something that you can not control." Angelica understood what love was after seeing her sisters, Mama and Handsome Papa, together. She had a good understanding of what true love is.
"Hmmm…. I seee… So wouldn't that mean I love Mei?" Bi Ling asked with her head tilted to the side. Everything Angelica had said was checked off for her and Mei.
"Maybe. I do not know. You two are one and the same. So your case may be different, but that is for you to interpret. Love is not defined by simple words." Angelica gently rubbed Bi Ling's head. All the plans Bi Ling had to push her and Ulia together went out the window. Ulia watched from the side as Angelica held her sister in her arms. A warm smile formed on her face. For the first time while looking at Angelica, she felt that Angelica was truly beautiful from the bottom of her heart.
Kana had been watching everything with Creige by her side. "Our babies are really growing up…."
"Kana, they have been grown up for quite a while. Rain even has great great grandkids already." Creige shook his head as he said this. But he knew in Kana's eyes her daughters would always be her babies.
"They are still my Babies! And If I say they are growing up, then they are!" Kana snorted as she pinched Creige's side. "But I can see that Ulia girl really looks fondly at Angelica. It's a shame that I will probably not get any more grandbabies, but as long as my daughters are happy, I will be happy."
"We can only watch over them and let them tread on their own paths. The same goes for all our kids." Creige hoped this part of Kana would never change. He could tell the subtle changes in her mentality as time has pa.s.sed. He did not know what was waiting in the future, but he would follow her to the end. Even if Kana were to become evil, he would stand by her side no matter what.
