--An) I am trying to make this daily again. I know I have been slacking on this novel but I do plan to keep writing it. --
"Today, as new students of this academy, you will undergo your annual destination training." An instructor with cybernetics for arms and legs announced as he stood in front of a large circular construct. It looked similar to an object in a show Kana had watched once in one of her past lives, a stargate. But this was much more high tech looking.
"Your training will consist of heading out to random worlds and spending three months there surviving. You are not allowed to use magic on any world where magic does not exist. You will each be given a rune which will auto activate after the three months are up or if you are close to death. This rune will send you back here, where you will be given proper treatment. This means unless you are close to death, you can not return, no matter what else is happening to you." The instructor's eyes were firm and very serious. "This is a learning experience. This means you need to reign in your att.i.tudes if you do not wish to end up in jail or as someone's plaything. The academy is here to teach. All actions you take during this training are on you."
The instructor looked at the haughty young ladies who normally would have a high and mighty att.i.tude and saw their pale faces and sneered: "Let me repeat myself once more to all you ladies. All actions are on you. If you anger someone and end up becoming their plaything, even if you end up pregnant we will not help you unless there is a cause. All your actions will be recorded. So we will know what is going on.
For you men. If you become slaves or end up tortured, imprisoned, or dead, this is your own fault. This is a life experience to allow you as angels of Aurora, to learn how to deal with the inhabitants of other worlds." The instructor took a deep breath before turning to Kana and asking: "Miss Kana you and your family's power is too great so we at the academy can not seal it so I will need to ask you to do so."
"Hmmm…. Okay. But Just so you know, I will not seal my own power. And Bi Ling and Mei Ling will not be going. I will not allow it. You can give them tasks around the academy while we are gone. But I will say this. If my family is in harm's way at all, I will not hesitate to go to their aid." Kana's words made many of the others who did not know her grit their teeth at the unfair treatment.
"What is this!? Why is she allowed to state whatever terms she wants!?" A young woman yelled out. She couldn't help but yell out in anger since the man next to her was the man of her dreams. She did not understand why this woman had such a handsome man!
"Miss Hammel, your mouth will ruin your Hammel family if you keep speaking. No one in this academy is able to tell Miss Kana what she can and can not do. Not even the Academy Master." The instructor did not care if he was stepping on one of the great family's toes. Kana was a special ent.i.ty in the entirety of Aurora. Not just her status as the G.o.d of creation's granddaughter but her power alone makes her someone who is worthy to step into Eden. Even her family members are quite powerful.
"You!" The young woman could not say anything else and quickly turned her head away. She was not favored very much at home so she was never told about Kana or more like she was forgotten by her family since they only cared about the heir.
"Enough!" Kana yelled out as she looked at the young woman. "The instructor just said your att.i.tude will get you in trouble, and I can guarantee that if you are to step through that portal you will end up pregnant with some bandit's child. I have been to many worlds and experienced many cultures. And I can say this for sure, you are someone who can not quickly adjust to the circ.u.mstances. But I will not stop you from entering that portal. Because your life is your own but I suggest you keep your mouth shut and try to fit into the world you are going to."
"How dare you speak to me…. Urk!" A cold chill ran down the young woman's back as multiple swords suddenly appeared all around her in an instant.
"Our Mama is not someone you can yell at as you see fit." Angelica, Rain, Yana, Mei Ling, Bi Ling, Ako, and even Ulia and Soli were all standing around the young woman with killing intent exuding from each of their bodies. Well, all except Ulia who only moved because Angelica did.
"Alright, enough!" The instructor did not wish to see bloodshed, so he wanted to bring things to a close. "Miss Hammel, you will be the first to go through. Go through now or they might just run you through."
"Tch! I will show you all!" Push the swords in front of her away and stomped her way over to the portal before jumping through it.
Kana looked at the portal and shook her head. She knew the instructor had done something just now. She could tell that the young woman was not going to have an easy time. With a sigh, she waved her hand, forming a seal on each of her family member's bodies. She then sent them a message telling them they can undo the seal by calling out for her if they needed to. This way if something happens, they could easily save themselves if needed.
"Mama, how come we can't do the test?" Bi Ling asked. She was actually excited about this test.
Kana felt bad, but because of their looks, things would not be easy for them. "Because you are still too young. Stay here with Mei and protect her. Just do what the instructor asks."
"Okay…" Bi Ling pouted her lip. Kana sighed and placed her hand on Bi Ling's head. "I will take you to another world later on, so for now, just put up with it, okay?"
"Mmm…" Bi Ling nodded and smiled. She was disappointed, but since her Mama was willing to take her to another world at a later time, she was happy.
